From Santa Rosa:

Proceed west on Guernville Road until it dead-ends into Hwy 116. Turn left onto Hwy 116. Turn right onto Green Valley Rd. and then turn right onto Ross Rd. We’re located about a ½ mile down on the right at 4515 Ross Road.

From Oakland:

I-880 North to I-980 (towards Hwy 24/Walnut Creek). I-580 (towards San Fran-cisco/Hayward). I-580 West for about 18 miles. Take Hwy 101 North (San Rafael/Santa Rosa) for about 37 miles. Exit Hwy. 116 West and follow it through the town of Sebastopol.

Continue on Hwy 116 North and West towards Jenner / Forestville. Turn left at Green Valley Rd. (approx. 4½ miles outside Sebastopol) and then turn right on Ross Rd. We’re located about a ½ mile down on the right.

From Sacramento:

Take Hwy. 80 West to Vallejo. Take Hwy. 37 West to Hwy. 101 North. A little north of Petaluma you will see Hwy. 116 West. Follow it through the town of Sebastopol.

Continue on Hwy. 116 West (towards Jenner). Turn left on Green Valley Rd. (approx. 4½ miles outside Sebastopol). Go to the bottom of the incline and make the first right on Ross Rd. Traditional Medicinals is approximately ½ mile down on the right.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday classes will be held at the California School of Herbal Studies

Experience the beauty of Emerald Valley and the California School of Herbal Studies (CSHS).

CSHS located on a lovely, rustic 80 acre sanctuary known as Emerald Valley. Our campus includes a classroom with an adjacent kitchen, a one-half acre garden with over 400 herb species, a medicine making building and forested hiking trails. Forestville is an hour and a half drive north of San Francisco.

CSHS was founded in 1978 by Rosemary Gladstar, and led today by School Directors Rebecca Maxfield and Jason Miller, along with Program Coordinator Autumn Summers, CSHS continues in the spirit in which it was created.

Our mission is to help to create sustainable communities by providing Earth-centered, community based herbal education, CSHS strives to empower individuals with the skills, confidence and experience needed by the community herbalist.
